I saw lots of those in Germany when I was the in the Army in the early 60's. They were carried by both the local Polezi and the Bundeswehr. I had one that I later sold but yours is a much nicer example than the one I had.

This was my uncle's bring back. I got it upon his passing and it came with its original capture brown soft shell holster, two mags, 8 rds of German head stamp ammo and the capture papers with the weapons S/N, his name and his CO's signature.100_3947.jpg100_3956.jpg

Flobabob, awesome looking P38. I didn't think much of them until I got one. Lots of muzzle flip, but FUN!
These are great pics of singles and collections.
RRRROOOWWWRRR PHHT PHHT I AM THE FORCE!
Thanks Scott
I have managed to get them all operational. The Enfield No.2 I had to have a cylinder shim installed to reduce slop. The Nambu 14 is a constant challenge to work consistently. Being able to reload really help making up "light" loads for these old guys. I like the Webley. Although it is shaved, I can shoot 45ACP and if you run out of ammo you can throw that hunk of iron at them!
The first pic is my duty weapon that I carried from 2001 thru 2017. The next two are ones that I alternate as edc. A P6, and a former MI State Police p228 with upgrades.p226.jpgp6.jpgp228side.jpgp228top.jpg
