    CETME Build Condition Of Kit?

I have one of the CETME kits with the new Spanish CETME barrel.
Not having the original barrel its hard to tell how used the kit is.
What parts of the parts kit do I need to check over before I have it built?
If it was more than 'well used', can the kit still be used?
Any part of the kit I should not reuse?
My builder is in OH and I am in CO so I just can't just drive over and have him check it over.

When building the kit, should I go with CETME sights or HK91 sights? I have a SAR8 (G3) so if I will be doing iron sights shooting I will use that rifle. I am sure I will use a scope on the CETME.

if you have a spare hk, use that, if you already have the cetme use that. they are that terribly bad.

After building a few of these now, I would relate my experience about Cetmes and scopes. I built one with a Century cast stainless receiver, and found that it works better for the stanag scope mount. If you are doing yours with a stamped receiver, there are some good options for scope mounts that seem to be better than the stanag. I'm partial to the G3 rear drum sight, but also found that the Cetme paddle wheel is every bit as functional, I guess it's just a matter of looks for some guys, and rules of Cetme originality for others.
Also, use the 922 compliance parts check lists you'll find all over the site here as a guide for what to replace out of your kit.

Oh, additionally, ,,,, I found that I had better success if I went ahead from the get go and started with new bolt, locking piece, and rollers, and set the rifle up with those parts in spec, and kept the bolt parts from the kit to use as spares if they check out allright in the gun after the build.
