Falfiles will work OR you can take a picture of it and post it here.
In those moments where you're not quite sure if the undead are really dead, dead, don't get all stingy with your bullets.

There should be other markings, the mininum I have seen is some comment Made some where, I have one that says "Made in Canada" and C1A1. The IMBELS are distinctive with the gear logo, and other markings, There should be some other markings telling the maker, wether century or others. You can ID the type by the way the receiver is cut and lightned too.

That said, the FAL files are a good source for FAL info.
Still building bigger and better bombs for your brighter tommrows(aw heck and takeing them apart and demilling them for that tommrow too)

OK. If I understand now, you want to ID the lower. The upper would more than likely be US and mine(Century) has "METRIC" electro-penciled in the mag well. For the lower, some pics would help. What are the safe/fire/auto positions marked like? How many numbers? Mine as a South African has the original Ser# from ? on the left side up near the rear sight and an electropenciled (dots) number on the lower side of the front.
The upper (controlled by FFL sales) receiver should have the name stamped on the mag well and if it is an L1A1 it "should" be inch. The word Century means they put what would fit in it regardless.
