I do, on both. GP-11 has seamed to have dried up though. Thank you!

    Surprisingly accurate though.
Yes, running the action definitely feels satisfying and sounds cool too. I forgot to mention the trigger. Easily the best trigger on any of my surplus rifles. Smooth and breaks like glass.

It's a really fun day at the range when everything goes the way it did for you and your new rifle. Looks like you have found a keeper there.

It was a great day at the range, very pleased. This one is definitely a keeper. Of course my son is going to want it after he shoots it. Lol

That would be nothing new for me. My son is hoping to wind up with all of mine.

Same here. He will have to wait until I am physically incapable of shooting though. Lol

The kick doesn't bother me much, it's a 30 cal bolt gun, kicks about like all of them.

GP11 should be back, but probably in smaller quantities. The Swiss surplus ammo after 20 years or something like that. Vendors are getting greedy though, I kinda wonder if we'll ever see it at $0.50/round again. The Swiss forum on Gunboards and Swissrifles have a couple Brits who jump through all the hoops to shoot there. They always laugh when we bitch about ammo prices

Yup, I want to get hold of some of that GP11 ammo when it comes back in. I have also heard that the Swiss sell off their ammo once the old stuff hits the expiration date every year.

The PPU looks real darn accurate, but heard many say GP11 is even more accurate. Luckily I have over 3 bricks (cases)of GP11 and some loose packages on hand. Get a chance to get some don't
be stingy on buying as it does not show up much.

Yes, the PPU is very accurate and consistent for factory loaded ammo. Not a single flier out of 60 rounds. I usually get a flier or two with that number of rounds fired. I will definitely be on the lookout for GP11 ammo. It's hard to find and expensive now though. I can't imagine more accurate than what I already shot with it using the PPU.

P.S. You have too many of those rifles Buckshot. LOL!

Edelweissarms has GP11 back in stock right now. 10 round boxes, 60 round bricks and 480 round cases. Just now ordered some.

Expensive though. The 480 round case is $499.00 before shipping, well over $1 a round for surplus ammo.

Edit: $1.37 a round shipped for the 60 round brick.
